How to Get an Israel Job as an Indian Worker — the Real Route (2026)

Israel is the highest-paying large-scale destination for Indian blue-collar workers right now — and the number that proves it is official: 6,774 Indian workers had arrived in Israel by 1 July 2025 under the India–Israel Framework Agreement (MEA, Rajya Sabha answer, August 2025), almost all of them construction workers. Israel also asked for thousands more, including caregivers. But the same demand has spawned the loudest scam economy in Indian recruitment. This page separates the two.

Door 1: Government-to-Government (G2G)

Under the 2023 bilateral agreement, Israel hires Indian workers through government-notified channels:

- NORKA Roots (Kerala government agency) — register on norkaroots.org or the NORKA Job Portal; their Recruitment section explains the process openly. Helpline: 1800 425 3939.

- NSDC (National Skill Development Corporation) — runs skill-verified recruitment batches.

- TOMCOM — Telangana's own state overseas-employment agency; workers from our region should check it first.

- Trades: masons, carpenters, formwork, steel fixing, and caregiving. Process: registration → trade test → interview → medical → B/1 work visa.

Door 2: Licensed Private Agencies

Israeli employers also hire through MEA-licensed recruitment agencies for employer-sponsored placement — caregiving, construction, and industrial roles. The legal test is the same one rule: the agency holds a valid RA number you can check on eMigrate. Ours is RA5501045 — verify us, then expect the same proof from anyone else.

What Israel Actually Pays (Rupees)

- Caregivers: about Rs 1.9–2 lakh/month plus stay — anchored to Israel’s legal minimum wage, not negotiation.

- Skilled construction: Rs 1.6–2.8 lakh/month depending on trade and grade.

- Full breakdown in our Israel salary guide. If an offer is multiples of these numbers — like the viral Rs 8 lakh message — the number is the scam.

The B/1 Visa, Briefly

The Israel work visa is the B/1: employer-sponsored, applied with the employer's backing, with medical and document checks. Our step-by-step B/1 guide covers the document list and timeline. Israel is not on the ECR-country list, so emigration clearance does not apply — but your passport and documents still must be clean.

The Fakes Around This Route

- Fake NORKA agents: fraudsters use NORKA's name and charge for 'Israel registrations' — NORKA's own process is on its website; a private office collecting cash in NORKA's name is a counterfeit.

- The Rs 1.7 lakh Delhi racket: 46 people paid for Israel visas that did not exist — read the anatomy; the playbook is identical everywhere.

- The Rs 8 lakh/month WhatsApp message: phishing, fact-checked, debunked by us line by line.

The Honest Sequence

1. Pick your door: G2G registration (free-to-apply processes) or a licensed agency you verified. 2. Get a written offer naming the employer, salary and contract. 3. Do the medical, B/1 processing and travel with receipts for everything you pay. 4. Fly with emigration-clean documents. Anyone who inverts this order — money first, employer later — is running the scam.
