Serbia's booming infrastructure and manufacturing sectors are creating steady demand for skilled Indian workers — particularly in construction, welding, and factory roles. Here is what you need to know before applying.

Why Serbia?

Serbia offers stable employment, employer-provided accommodation in many cases, and a lower cost of living than Western Europe — making it an increasingly attractive destination for Indian workers seeking European experience.

In-Demand Roles

- Construction: Mason, carpenter, shuttering carpenter, steel fixer, general helper

- Welding & Fabrication: MIG welder, TIG welder, arc welder, pipe fitter

- Factory: Production operator, assembly worker, quality checker

Indicative Salaries (Not a Guarantee)

Salaries vary by employer, skill level and role. As a general guide (indicative only, confirm with employer before committing):

- Construction trades: ₹55,000 – ₹85,000/month

- Welders/fabricators: ₹65,000 – ₹95,000/month

- Factory/production: ₹50,000 – ₹75,000/month

ECNR Passport is Mandatory

An ECNR passport is required for all European countries including Serbia. Ensure your passport does not have the ECR endorsement before applying.

How to Apply Safely

1. Only work with MEA-licensed agencies (check eMigrate.gov.in — Hanman Travels is RA5501045)

2. Never pay fees in cash or to a personal bank account

3. Ensure you have a signed employment contract before paying any fees
